Ft. Worth Texas has a long and very colorful history. A lot of things have happened if Ft. Worth since this great nation has been born and grown to where it is today. There was a time when nearly every piece of beef in the United States of America came through the famous Stockyards in this city. It was the heart of the Wild West for many years.
Today there is a gunfight of another kind happening here. One that will have far reaching and near devastating results on the people that live in and around the city of Ft. Worth. As we all know the country is in deep financial problems and the real estate market is doing its best not to come to a complete stand still.
Homes, Business property and vacant land is being foreclosed and repossessed at record numbers to the point that values are so low that unless you actually own the home or property free and clear there is little chance that you have any equity in the property.
The repossessed homes in Ft. Worth are mainly single family dwellings of moderate age although there are pockets of fairly new construction in and around the various newer subdivisions that had sprung up around the outskirts of the city to house the people that had takes now defunct jobs in that particular part of town.
There is not as wide a cross section of homes here as there might be in other parts of the state or country because the majority of the area is made up of the middle income families and not as many wealthy folks so there are less upper end properties in various forms of foreclosure or repossession here.
The area in Ft. Worth tends to be more family oriented and is a great place for young families.
